PERSEN is a herbal medicine with a mild sedative effect. It contains extracts of valerian root, melissa leaves and peppermint leaves. Medicinal valerian root has a sedative effect, relieves symptoms of nervous tension and helps to sleep in insomnia. Melissa leaves and peppermint leaves are used as a sedative, traditionally used in combination with medicinal valerian roots for the production of herbal sedatives.
 
PERSEN tablets are suitable for the treatment of mild disorders where the use of stronger sedatives is unreasonable.
 
PERSEN is used to relieve temporary low levels of nervous tension and / or to relieve temporary difficulty in falling asleep.
 
 
Do not use PERSEN if you are allergic to valerian root, melissa leaves, peppermint leaves or any of the other ingredient.
 
PERSEN is not recommended for use in children below 12 years of age.
 
Concomitant use with synthetic sedatives is not recommended.
 
PERSEN is not recommended for use with alcoholic beverages. Take PERSEN with a little water, no matter what time you eat.

How to use:
 
Adults and children over 12 years of age
 
in case of nervous tension, it is recommended to take 3-4 tablets 3 times a day;
to help you fall asleep, it is recommended to take 3-4 tablets 1 hour before bed. 
The tablet should be swallowed with a small amount of water, regardless of the meal time.
 
PERSEN starts to operate gradually. It is recommended that you take the medicine for at least 14 days for optimal treatment. If your condition does not improve or even worsen within 14 days, consult your doctor. There is no limit to the duration of treatment. Dependence on the drug does not occur with long-term treatment. There is no evidence of withdrawal syndrome at the end of treatment.

The active substances are valerian dry alcoholic extract, melissa leaf dry extract, peppermint leaf dry extract.
 
Each coated tablet contains:
 
 
 
Valeriana officinalis 35 mg, Radix (valerian root) dry alcoholic extract (4-7: 1), 70% (v / v) ethanol extractant;
 
17.5 mg Melissa officinalis, folium (Melissa leaf) dry extract (3-6: 1), 50% (v / v) ethanol extractant;
 
17.5 mg of dry extract of Mentha piperita, folium (peppermint leaf) (3-6: 1), 40% (v / v) ethanol extractant.
 
The other ingredients are:
 
Tablet core: microcrystalline cellulose, maize starch, crospovidone, lactose monohydrate, talc, magnesium stearate, colloidal anhydrous silica.
 
 
 
Tablet film: Hypromellose, Talc, Carmellose sodium, Povidone, Colloidal anhydrous silica, Calcium carbonate, Glycerol, Sucrose, Wax, Red iron oxide (E172), Titanium dioxide (E171).
