OTIPAX ear drops 16g
Indications for use of are:
For local symptomatic treatment and pain relief in adults and children (including newborns) with: otitis media in the acute period at the time of inflammation; otitis media, as a complication after the flu; barotraumatic otitis media.
Composition:
100 g of ear drops contain 4 g of phenazone and 1 g of lidocaine hydrochloride, as well as sodium thiosulfate, 95% alcohol, glycerin in equal proportions up to 100 g; in vials of 16 g, in a cardboard box 1 bottle.
Pharmachologic effect:
Phenazone blocks cyclooxygenase and inhibits the biosynthesis of "anti-inflammatory" PGs. Lidocaine, due to antagonism with sodium and calcium ions at the level of the nerve fiber membrane, disrupts the perception and conduction of the pain impulse.
