Furosemide Renewal tablets are indicated for:

• Edema associated with congestive heart failure
• Edema associated with renal impairment
• Edema associated with liver cirrhosis
• Hypertension

 

• Anuria (lack of urine production)
• Hypersensitivity to furosemide or any component of the formulation
• Severe electrolyte depletion (e.g., hypokalemia, hyponatremia)
• Severe hepatic coma
• Pregnancy (especially during the first trimester) and breastfeeding

Each Furosemide Renewal tablet contains 40 mg of furosemide.

 

• The dosage regimen should be individualized based on the patient's condition and response to treatment.
• The usual starting dose for adults is 20-80 mg per day, administered orally once or twice daily. The maximum daily dose is 600 mg.
• The tablets should be taken with a glass of water, preferably in the morning to avoid nocturia.
