Indications for use of Dimexide Conc are:
Rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, deforming osteoarthritis, radiculitis, scleroderma, erythema nodosum, erysipelas; bruises, sprains, inflammatory edema; infiltrates; purulent wounds, burns, trophic ulcers, thrombophlebitis, eczema, acne, pustular skin diseases (pyoderma, furunculosis); in skin plastic surgery - preservation of skin homografts; in dentistry - inflammatory diseases of the maxillofacial region, salivary glands, periodontitis, pulpitis, periodontitis, arthritis and arthrosis of the temporomandibular joint.
Pharmachologic effect:
Anti-inflammatory. It has a local anesthetic, local anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial (antiseptic) and fibrinolytic effect. It quickly and well penetrates biological membranes, incl. through the skin and mucous membranes, increases their permeability to other drugs. Changes the sensitivity of antibiotic-resistant microflora. In most cases, it is used in combination with other medicinal substances (by first dissolving in it or applying it to the skin) for better and deeper penetration into tissues (for example, with heparin in the treatment of thrombophlebitis, with glucocorticoids in the treatment of eczema, with antimicrobial drugs in the treatment furunculosis, erysipelas, acne).
